Problem Statement

How might we teach people to teach people to cook easy & healthy food at home?

 


Customer / Problem

Many families are affected by an unhealthy diet due to the fact that there are not enough cheap, easy & healthy meal options to cook at home. Due to time pressure, people often end up buying takeaway food, which comes with a large amount of unnecessary plastic packaging. This also creates a problem of excessive plastic waste.

 


Solution

Our solution is to create the Fresh and Sustainable cookbook. The cookbook would include a huge variety of healthy but easy recipes, with each recipe including a QR code allowing the user to watch an instructional video. The cookbook would also have a strong focus on sustainability, encouraging people to incorporate sustainable products into their meal prep. Each cookbook will even come with a family set of sustainable bamboo straws.
