How might we provide an accessible resource for young people, that teaches them all about finding a job?

 

 

Customer / Problem

The problem we have found through interviewing a range of other young adults, is that teens want to find employment opportunities, but don't know where or how. 

Example: "Alice, 14, wants to find a part time job but she doesn’t know where to apply or how to do it."
 

Our audience is: 

1.Young people looking for their first job.

2. Employers needing to recruit workers

 

What Is Your Solution?

Our Solution is an app called JobJrny, that includes all things ‘first job’. E.g. store locators, resume templates, information, recommendations and AI generated prompts to equip young people with knowledge for their first job. We want our app to be accessible for young people looking for their first job, but also employers to advertise that they need workers. 

The benefits of our app is that it is:

1. Convenient

2. Allows users to upload profile and filter preferences

3. Free for employees (Employers will be charged for listing)

4. Includes an AI generated bot (JrnyBot)
